In a heroic last move, my car jumped in the way of a falling tree branch during the insane wind storm last week and saved Dave Geis’s car for certain destruction. My noble Hyundai lost it’s life after being totaled by that tree. Dave’s car has a cracked bumper.
To repay me, Dave has agreed to drive me to Trader Joes today so I can buy some groceries.
